Foam Products Save the Vacation Day

We anticipate summer vacation throughout the year. It finally arrives: Your vacation days have been booked for months, accommodations are reserved, you mapped your travel route and the vehicle is packed. The family is excited to get on the road and get to your destination.

Family vacations always begin with an air of excitement that brings forth shiny smiles to children’s faces. Generally, this lasts until you have been on the road for 10 minutes. Soon, wisps of boredom begin to take solid form, and it slowly gathers itself into a large being that unbelievably fits within the confines of the rear seats.

You can contribute to saving a family from boredom on the road. After numerous repetitions of the “Are We There Yet” chorus, imagine the gratitude as the parent not driving pulls a foam mosaic out of a goody bag. If this car-friendly craft keeps kids occupied for even a short time, parents are likely to kiss the logo you had imprinted on the bottom of the finished mosaic.

Travelling is complete and it is time to let the vacation begin. It is hoped you escape it, but there is a four-letter word that can hinder a holiday: rain. Even the best laid vacation plans remain subject to the caprice of weather.

Whether you vacation in a hotel, cabin, camper or tent, foam toys work to save a rainy day. RushIMPRINT can provide you with foam footballs carrying your logo to give employees and colleagues. Lightweight foam rarely causes damage, so the recipients will gladly let the kids toss the balls around to relieve the tedium of a rainy day.

When kids become bored, they regularly take frustration out on each other. This is the point a parent steps in to declare if the behaviour does not stop, she will beat them with a wet noodle. If you take the initiative, parents can avoid this step. They can give the kids a wet noodle and let them go at it with each other. Okay, the noodle will not actually be wet unless the kids go play in the rain or in the pool, but nobody will get hurt and nobody will lose an eye.

These are three small gifts, yet they have the immense power needed to save a family’s sanity. Won’t you help contribute to this worthy cause?

Custom Printed Lighters & Matchbooks

Bars and restaurants are a perfect place for people to get together. What better way to socialize than with good food, good drink, and great friends? And if you have your business in the bar or restaurant industry, you may have had to work around people who smoke. It tends to go hand in hand; people start throwing back shots of tequila and light up a cigarette to ease the burn, or perhaps a celebration has caused the distribution of some cigars. But, inevitably, there are going to be people who don’t have a light when they need it. Which is why it’s a great idea – and a great marketing tactic – to get yourself some custom printed lighters and matchbooks.

BIC J23 Slim Lighter
This is your standard BIC lighter. Easily recognizable, easy to use. This custom printed lighter also offers a variety of colors from which to choose, both for the lighter itself and for your business logo to be added on one side, with a warning label on the other side.

BIC J38 Electronic Lighter
These custom printed lighters are great because instead of having to roll your thumb over the flint wheel, it’s just a simple depression of the button and the lighter produces a flame electronically.

BIC J25 Mini Lighter
The mini lighter is really fun, and very handy to keep around. The size gets people wanting to touch it and look at it, regardless of whether or not they’re a smoker! And the tiny size of this custom printed lighter means it’s very easy to stash anywhere and keep on hand at all times!

These are just a few examples of some of the custom printed lighters and matchbooks you can get for your business. Keeping them on hand to give away to customers as they need them during the evening adds a little something extra to your customer service end along with getting promotional items into the hands of customers.

Also, it will have them carrying your logo with them wherever they go after they’ve left your establishment. People will – and do, frequently – ask about the logo imprinted on the lighter, which will strike up conversation about your business. Even non-smokers have need of lighters and matches from time to time, whether for starting a fire in the fireplace or lighting candles for a romantic evening.

Custom printed lighters and matchbooks are also incredibly cost effective, making it very easy to add this in to your budget for promotional tools. If you haven’t considered it already and you’re in the bar and restaurant industry, it’s highly recommended that you get yourself some custom printed lighters and matchbooks!

Showing your pride never felt so warm!

Promotional Toques Warm the Brand Image

If there is one thing Canadians know, it is how to keep warm in winter. That knowledge is an instinctive talent we possess. When it comes to keeping our heads warm, we know that winter toques are a Canadian fashion necessity.

Showing your pride never felt so warm!

The origin of the toque is uncertain. There is a story that European sailors originated this type of head covering: They would wear large wool stockings on their heads in order to retain body heat. There is another story that fur traders in Canada would wear wool nightcaps during the day to fend off the cold. Regardless of its birth, the toque is certainly a Canadian staple.

I was born and raised in Winnipeg. I know toques. I also spent a few years living in Iowa and am amused by some of the explanations I had to come up with when my American friends would ask about Canadianisms: The word toque rhymes with Luke, the scruffy officer on Hill Street Blues wore a toque and Santa Claus wears a fancy toque. In some regions of the world toques are called toboggans but it was hard work convincing my friends that, to a Canadian, a toboggan is that wooden contraption used to slide down a hill. A person from Canada would find it difficult to walk through the doors of their work place wearing a toboggan on his head instead of this wonderful toque with the colours of Canada.

This covering is known everywhere regardless of whether it is called a beanie, a toboggan or a toque. This popularity makes promotional toques a hit. When fall turns into winter, we all begin to search our closets for favourite branded toques as it is almost a national past time to read the logos on these wonderful creations as we pass each other on the street.

Think of the impact of a black toque against the white snow brandishing your company logo for all to see. Warming heads with a custom toque may also warm your brand image with potential future customers.

From the knit beanie that fits close to the head to the floppy version worn by that beloved cartoon character in The Log Driver’s Waltz vignette from the National Film Board of Canada, the toque is a Canadian institution that will always exist.
